　　2012年1月9日，厦门市湖里区江头派出所民警传来消息，一名自称来自临川鹏田的吴某被控制。经相片比对，吴某的身份被确认。11日晚，吴某被办案民警押回至临川区公安分局。
　　由于其最亲近的爷爷奶奶几年前就已过世，吴某没有可供寻查下落的社会关系，案件一度陷入僵局。为追捕已不知去向的吴某，临川警方在网上发布了通缉令。考虑到吴某曾在福建、浙江等地偷窃被抓，警方分析吴某极有可能潜入福建和浙江这些熟悉的地方，于是向两地公安机关发出了协查通报。

　　据民警介绍，吴某案发后即从抚州乘车逃往外地，并以乞讨和打零工为生，先后辗转多地，最后落脚至厦门市湖里区。4日，吴某登上当地一座山，在山腰处一间二层楼高的凉亭歇脚,abercrombie，不慎失足摔下导致双脚脚后跟粉碎性骨折。吴某双手撑地爬行了近两公里路，蜷缩在一处码头附近的地下通道。好心的路人见状拨打了当地救助站的求助电话，吴某随后被送往救助站，救助站工作人员将其送往厦门市中医院进行救治。为了得到及时救治，吴某这才被迫说出了自己的真实身份。

　　11日晚，吴某向记者讲述了他行凶的动机和全过程。
